Exploring Sand

It was an absolutely gorgeous day in January here in Charleston so we took advantage of it with an afternoon stroll on the beach.  Can you believe there were actually a fair amount of people in the water?  Mostly young boys...I can picture Colin now braving the cold water when he gets older.

Daddy held Colin in the carrier on our walk so he got to check everything out.

 

The highlight of the trip was when we were on our way back to our car and decided to stop on the trail to let Colin explore the sand.  He is getting much better at sitting up on his own and was able to grab at the sand on his own.

Luckily, there weren't any face dives, although he certainly came close.  We were also able to keep most of the sand out of the mouth!
