A few days later it opened up even more and was strikingly beautiful.
Moving and selling this home is definitely bittersweet. We are super excited to move to the northeast and be so much closer to our family and friends but at the same time, we have made a life in Charleston that we will greatly miss, especially our home.
We choose this home together before we were even engaged. Although Tim picked out all of the furniture himself (way to go hubby), he allowed me to decorate it as merely his girlfriend. We shared our first years as a married couple here, endured two deployments, had our first knock-down drag out fights here, brought both our sweet babies home to this house and our little puppy dog...but most importantly we learned how to be a family here. I'd like to think that we are not leaving these memories behind but taking them with us as we continue on this journey of life.
I am ever so thankful that baby girl stayed in mommy one extra day so that we could take the time to capture these beautiful photos of our first home (before it got overrun with baby stuff). We are really going to miss this place!!
