Goodbye to our Playgroup Buddies

A few weeks before leaving Charleston, our playgroup friends hosted a goodbye party for us.  It was at my dear friend Quinn's house and it couldn't have been more special.  It was a beach/pool party theme and so much fun!

Sorry about that diaper, Colin! :)

Lunch!
Dessert!

Yum!
Along with sending mommy off with some southern cookware, our sweet friends also made us a personalized blanket and a special C-17 pillow for Colin.  We will treasure these gifts forever!

Luckily, that was not our last party together.  Over the weekend, we also had Colin's friend Beau's birthday party.  Daddy was home so we were all able to attend.

Someone absolutely loved his cupcakes. While mommy wasn't watching someone let him eat the whole thing!

When it was time to open presents Colin was more interested than the birthday boy.

These times are the best.  I sure am going to miss this....

Father's Day Weekend

Over Father's Day weekend, Colin and Daddy had their first big outing by themselves.  They made the long drive to the Riverbanks Zoo in Columbia.  Both Daddy and Colin survived and had a great day!  (Mommy was thrilled to get some organizing done in prep for our move.)

Father's Day was a gorgeous day, as most days are in Charleston.  Daddy took some shots of his girls after church. (I love having my baby girl wrapped up!!)

Back at home, Genevieve got some cuddles with Daddy.

Daddy couldn't resist picking at Genevieve's cradle crud...what else are daddies for?
We spent lots of time outside enjoying the day and showering Daddy with presents.

Toolbox from Mommy already filled with Daddy's toys.
All was going well until Colin decided he want to play with every tool in the box and had a giant tantrum when we didn't let him. It's tough being a toddler!
It wasn't long before he was all smiles again after helping Mommy make brownies for Daddy's special day.
These aren't from Father's Day, but I had to include these sweet moments between Daddy and his babies.

My kids are blessed with such a great Daddy!  (Lilly is pretty lucky too!)
