Time with Daddy

We had less than two weeks between when we returned home from Alabama and when Daddy had to leave.  He had to work quite a bit, with a few all-night flights, but he made sure to make plenty of time for our little family.  Lots of time was spent cuddling with Colin (and Lilly).

One of Colin's favorite activities is going to church. This was his first time attending mass at the cathedral downtown.  He enjoyed it as usual.
I have been working on my Charleston Bucket List and needed to cross off walking the Arthur Ravenel Bridge which connects our town, Mt. Pleasant, with downtown Charleston.  I'm so glad we could all do this together because as soon as we got on the bridge three C-17s in formation flew above us.  It was quite the sight.
Walking the bridge gave us a really awesome view of downtown as well.
Lilly was spoiled by Daddy holding her the whole time (She is going to miss him!):
And Colin slept half way and then woke up ready to eat. We had to walk pretty quickly back to the car to keep him from having one of his "I need to eat right this minute" scream fests...
We also took the whole gang for a walk on the beach.

 Daddy and Colin:

It was pretty sunny, so Daddy gave Colin his hat for some shade. Go Lions!

Before Daddy left, we had to make sure we enjoyed some fall activities.  We picked out a pumpkin at the pumpkin patch (hello alliteration) and took some fun photos.

It was a little too sunny for the scarecrow:
Boo!

Since Daddy was going to have to miss Halloween, we played dress-up beforehand.
The pumpkin is almost the same size as our lion.
Checking out the pumpkin:

I am seriously going to miss Tim! One of the big reasons is having him here for solutions when things get rough with Colin.  For example, a few days before he left Colin was being really fussy.  Tim suggested putting the swing outside since Colin always seems to calm down in the outdoors.  It worked!
I am also going to miss his help with our bedtime routine. Daddy gives the best bathes and massages!
He's also really good at reading bedtime stories.
But alas, the Air Force separates us once again...
Check out that cute face Daddy is going to be missing:

Sending Daddy off at the terminal...
WE LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU! xoxo
