Genevieve is 4 Months!

Our sweet baby girl is 4 months old and a champ cooperating with Mommy to get all these gorgeous shots during our monthly photo shoot.  I think she was just happy to get out of the hotel room and into the fresh air!
Still as smiley as ever!

Genevieve's signature face
And a few without the headband....

All those photos can tire a girl out!
Always catching flies..

Baby girl did a great job at her doctor's appointment this month.  She weighed in at 13 lbs 15 oz  (50th percentile) and was 25 1/4 in (75%).  Her weight percentile dropped some but that is not surprising since she has always been skinny.  I think she's just dropping off that early newborn weight.

The biggest update for Genevieve this month is her physical nature coming out even more.  She can manage to scoot her body facing any direction she would like.  Often making 180's on the carpet while playing.  Here she was playing on her mat and turned her body so she could watch the tennis match Daddy had on.

Future tennis star?  Maybe!

Genevieve has two speeds, kicking and moving all over the place and wrapped up on Mommy.
I think you can see in my face what happiness I feel when she is asleep on my chest.  (I'm usually not so happy five minutes before when I'm stressing that she cant fall asleep)
My heart grows a few sizes whenever Genevieve is nursing and holds her hands together. She's done this since the day she was born.

Still LOVES sucking those fingers.

Genevieve has gained more interest in her toys.  Here is the first time she took a good look at the doggy Nana and Grandpa got her the day after she was born.

Lilly has really started taking an interest in Genevieve. To the point where she guards the door when she is taking a nap.
She hasn't grown out of her habit of taking over the kids special places either.
Genevieve's hair started thinning out this month.  We are anxious to find out what color the  new hair growing in will be.  It was so dark when she was first born and has been lightening since. Sometimes it looks red, other times more blonde, and others brown.  It shifts depending on the lighting or even what she is wearing.

Hanging out in the car with Mommy while big brother takes a nap.
This smile will never get old!
