After 3 days in the hospital it was time to head home. Genevieve wasn't too fond of the carseat. She much more prefers to be cuddling with Mommy or Daddy (or really anyone who will hold her).
Everyone greeted us as we pulled into the driveway. Colin was so excited to see the baby. The stork had finally arrived:
Inside Colin got an close-up look at his little sis. He's not so sure what to do with her...
So happy to be home together.
It got real pretty quick. Colin had missed Mommy a lot and insisted on seeing me while he ate his lunch. This was my first attempt at multi-tasking with two little ones.Another shot of Mommy learning to multi-task.
The best part about coming home was arriving to a house full of grandparents! Being that we are hundreds of miles away it was really special to have both our parents there to greet us. It was a gorgeous day when we arrived home. We had a yummy lunch together outside while the grandmas soaked in all the snuggles.
Daddy had to leave in order to attend a week long conference in Georgia the next day. Fortunately, Mimi and Pappy were able to stay with us. More on that to come!
